Summer Assignment: Book challenge -- book two update

I'm a few chapters into Water For Elephants by Sara Gruen, and I like the story quite a bit. This isn't a page-turning, can't-put-it-down type of novel, but the story is interesting; I'm looking forward to seeing where author takes us as it's quite a unique setting. I'm also looking forward to learning more about the narrator, Jacob.
If you haven't picked up the book yet, there are a ton of copies at the Grayslake Library. I'm planning to finish this novel by Wednesday, July 9. I'll be posting our next read, the third book, Monday, July 7. There's still time to weigh in; though, I'm leaning toward one title already.

  1. I was just again looking through list of books. I noticed that The Secret Life of Bees is on your list. I just read that book. A patient gave me the book. It is a good read. I really enjoyed the book. Hopefully, you will read this book and enjoy it as well.

There's nothing better than good conversation ... but not while talking to myself. Will you play a part in this discussion?

AND will you pretty please have your email linked to your account or leave it for me so I can respond?

Thanks for taking the time to make these thoughts into conversation.
