Everyday Life: Plugs and buttons

Sometimes when it gets too quiet in our house while I'm busy doing something like making dinner, I become skeptical about what's happening the next room ... especially after the toddler has announced he is tired ... so I check ... and I've learned to take my camera ... because of moments like this ...

when I find the toddler shirtless ....

and trying to "recharge" by plugging the computer cord into his belly button while relaxing in the chair.

This will teach me to use the word "recharge" when referencing the computer and the personal time I sometimes take to sit in the reclining chair during the day. Perhaps I should refer to that time during the day when I plop into the chair and breathe deeply as mommy's relaxation time so the toddler doesn't actually think the computer cord is what gives mommy that extra umph.

  1. LOL! That is too cute.

  2. He definitely knows how to keep plugged in :) Very cute!

  3. Oh, my. This gives me flashbacks from that movie that they always showed to us in grade school on days when we had a substitute teacher...The Electric Grandmother

  4. Awww... I love him! What a clever, clever boy.

  5. LMAO

Yes, I also am suspicious of too much quiet with children around.

There's nothing better than good conversation ... but not while talking to myself. Will you play a part in this discussion?

AND will you pretty please have your email linked to your account or leave it for me so I can respond?

Thanks for taking the time to make these thoughts into conversation.
