365 Photo Project: Week One

Eight months after being gifted with a SLR camera, I've finally decided that I'm really going to dedicate some time to learning how to use my slick new friend.

And what better way to learn than to catapult myself head first into Maegan's 365 Photo Challenge?

Every weekend, I'll post my pictures from the last week. Feel free to give me any helpful tips or advice along the way. And please leave a link to your 365 project in your comment if you bless me with some comment love. I really want to learn from others along the way, and what better way than by viewing other photos?

Day One {start date: August 28, 2010}

Day Two

Day Three

Day Four

Day Five

Day Six

Day Seven

Day Eight

Yay! Another 365 buddy! I love your first week! Days 3, 6 and 7 are my favorites! I think you had a great first week and like Maegan said, your subject refects your heart and that makes your captures even better! Can't wait for next week!

Oh, it will be fun to see what pictures you are taking! May favs are 1, 7 and 8.

I have the photography bug something terrible! I do have a good bridge camera, not a full SLR, but far from a point and shoot. I'd love to learn how to get the most out of it. Have you mentioned somewhere what camera you use?

Looking forward to seeing more of your photos.

I especially like the boy in the playground tube, the tomatos and the cookies.
I dream of an DSLR. but without my computer right now I am so in limbo and it is driving me crazy. I can't post photos from my husband's PC. Sniff, sniff, boo hoo. So I haven't blogged in a long while now... they are still trying to bring my computer out of a comma. Giving it a heart transplant this week.
I want so much to try a 365 project. Looking forward to enjoying yours!

You did fantastic girl! I too have been considering starting this up but thought maybe I should wait until the start of the year. I'm anal like that. Hahahaha.

I think my favorite is the one in the tunnel.

Gorgeous shots, Hyacynth! I'm just finally getting started on mine - and for the exact same reasons. The year of pictures will be challenging for sure, but fun for learning these cameras!

Fun fun fun! My boys love baseball, too. I'm afraid it is because it is always on either on the tv or on the radio. We're HUGE tiger fans here. Each of your pictures are wonderful. I'm thinking that posting a weekly picture will be easier than posting one each day. I'm up to day #13 today.

My goodness! Day five, with G and E at the TV, is about the cutest thing I've seen in forever! Totally wish I could give the two a kiss!
