Plans for meetings, lunch, Bible study, small group

all scheduled for today.

Plans I was a little irritated about canceling and wouldn't have willingly cancelled.

However, I didn't have much of a choice but to submit my own plans

and embrace His instead.

Just another {not-so-subtle} reminder

that I'm not really in control

and that my plans are maleable.

And sandwiched inside my snowstorm of realization

I find myself praying that my heart could be as shapeable as my plans.

Because look at all I would have missed if I'd had it my way.
"He says to the snow, ‘Fall on the earth,’ and to the rain shower, ‘Be a mighty downpour.’ So that everyone he has made may know his work, he stops all people from their labor." Job 37: 6-7
What about you? If you were snowed in today, what would you have missed had you plowed through anyway?
