Creativity Boot Camp: Registration opens tomorrow !

Sometimes my words are void of passion, just letters floating around on a page, forming sentences.

And the pictures I snap don't seem to capture, feature any emotion or depth or life.

Sometimes I have OH-SO-MUCH floating around in my head -- so much passion, so many thoughts, so much conviction -- and I just cannot unlock my brain and pull it all out in a way that resonates with my soul.

Sometimes I call it writer's block, which is really one of my ultimate frustrations because I cannot process life without writing.

Every now and then, I find myself fishing for some creative fish and pulling the line back in only to find a bare hook.

Last year's Creativity Boot Camp whipped me into some serious shape; it lifted some creative weights so I could push through those moments of writer's block. Because this kind of slump is really bad for my {mental} health.

And most, importantly, it helped me define myself as a writer, an artist, a creator.

I'll be attending Creativity Boot Camp May 15-28. And the best part {well, maybe not best, but it IS super great!} -- I don't have to board a plane to flex my creative muscles!

And it's being hosted by the ubber-talented, extremely creative, Maegan from Life Set to Words! {And that was a whole lot of exclamation points in one paragraph. Sorry.}

Also? One teeny, tiny other little thing: this year, Maegan asked some fellow artists to contribute thoughts in each of their respective areas of expertise. And I'm humbled and excited to have been part of the collaboration for 2011.

Registration opens tomorrow. If you register between April 18 and 22, the cost is only $39, and half of the money benefits Show Hope!

CBC: Spring Training

So how was that for awesome news!

And at the end of this week, I get to share one more really fun thing. Trying not to burst until then. :)
